Welcome

St. John’s Bowling Club is a friendly club in the Irlam area and welcome anyone wishing to join from all age groups.

We have three teams playing in local leagues.

Irlam Ladies play on Tuesday afternoons in the Salford Eccles & District Ladies ABA League.

St. John’s ‘B’ and ‘C’ Teams play on Wednesday nights in the Irlam and Cadishead Bowling League.

We also have members who just come along and bowl socially.

The Club uses Prince’s Park Bowling Green and the

facilities provided by Irlam District Council.

Corona Virus Latest Update

Reopening of Green

We will be opening the green on 1st April 2021 subject to restrictions until further notice.

Salford Council have now given permission to open our bowling green. However there are certain guidelines we have to adhere to.

ONLY CLUB MEMBERS will be allowed on the Green by order of Salford Council.

Limited Green opening for exercise and practice to be restricted to 3 blocks.

Only 6 persons permitted on the green at any one time. No spectators.

Anyone wishing to bowl will have to book a time slot because the Club has to keep a record of people using the green to enable track and trace should this be required. You must have permission from St. John's B.C. to use the green.

To book a time slot phone:-  07864326396 between 10.00am and 12.00 or text and we’ll get

back to you.
